Who we are
A 501(c)(3) serving the Fiji Indigenous community in America
The Fiji Indigenous Peoples Foundation is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, dedicated to providing educational resources, charitable support, and advocating for the legal rights and social justice of the Indigenous Fijian community in America.
Established in 2015, our foundation is committed to advancing the aspirations of Indigenous Fijians, promoting their cultural heritage, and advocating for their rights and interests.

Our mission
Nurturing culture, fostering the next generation
To nurture and preserve our Indigenous culture, traditions, and values, while fostering a culture-oriented generation that embraces our rich heritage and contributes positively to our community and society at large.
We will achieve this through:
- Preserving and promoting our language, customs, and traditions
- Supporting the well-being and aspirations of our people, especially asylum seekers and youth
- Advocating for Indigenous rights and social justice
- Celebrating our culture through media, arts, and education
- Providing spiritual guidance and counseling
- Fostering a sense of community and belonging among our diaspora
